Barry Farm (Re)Mixed feels the ripple effect

As far as I know, Bloomingdale only has Parker Flats as its major condominium development, and there are several smaller ones sprinkled throughout the neighborhood. Living just down the street from the Parker Flats development, it appears to be maintained well, and more neighbors are moving in. Still, stories like Urban Architect's is a sobering piece of evidence in the condo vs. rowhouse debate for would-be homebuyers.

I admit, I got caught up in the idea of owning my own home, and really had no idea what I was getting into. Hindsight definitely is 20/20. But I absolutely positively can say, I do not regret purchasing my first property and I have no regrets buying in River East. What I do regret is purchasing a condominium.

Hat tip to IMGoph.
